4th Parenthood Expo 2008 at Mid Valley

by Penny on August 23, 2008

I found some time to pop by the 4th Parenthood Expo at Mid Valley yesterday. Many familiar names were there, from big names like Huggies, Pigeon and NUK to some familiar homegrown names which I’ve often liked browsing online.

I was there around 7-ish and I was looking forward to grab some good deals in the diaper department. But I was disappointed because the size that I wanted at the Huggies booth were all sold out! What was available to me was only the pull-up pants which is not the most critical to me.

Other good buys that I was tempted to buy were the Pigeon wet wipes (RM29.90 for 6 packs of 80 wipes each) and First Teeth Baby Toothpaste (if memory serves me right it was selling at RM19 each as compared to its usual price at RM22). But I did walk away with samples of this toothpaste and I’m quite happy to try it first before buying. What I did buy from there were some NUK bottle teats.

I was also tempted by some offers by Kinderdijk. Many Fisher-Price items were going on 20% discount, Avent bottles on 30% discount and Crocs shoes were on 20% discount. How would any parent not be tempted?!

I was hoping to find Enfa formula on sale (a long shot, I know) but they weren’t there. I think I only saw 2 brands of formula there. For expectant mothers, you will find some stem cell companies represented at the expo so if you have been wanting more information, you can find 2 companies’ booth there too.

If you’re already at Mid Valley over the weekend, do drop by and check out some decent deals. Don’t think of it as spending, think of it as saving when buying on sale! ;)

Good for you! I hope you got a great deal. NUK has served us very well :) I also wrote a post about their distribution office’s service regarding some issue I had earlier. In any case, I definitely recommend their products.
