I’ve been tagged by Mum’s the word (or Pa) 5 months back to do a post on 7 random facts about me and I still haven’t done it! So here it is, the 7 random things about me. Don’t get bored and fall asleep reading, ok?

1. I can laugh non-stop for minutes on end, and sometimes the thing that tickled me isn’t exactly that funny. Back in my primary school days, a teacher once complained to my mum that I disrupted the entire class period she was teaching because I laughed non-stop at something that she did and she couldn’t continue teaching because I just kept bursting into laughter not long I manage to stop! Each class lasted 45 minutes, and I laughed the entire time!
2. Some years back I quarrelled with a traffic policeman for not letting me pass when he had just let other cars in front of me go through. When he threatened to give me a summon for arguing with him, I told him to do so. Only after spotting the pistol tucked in his belt did I suddenly feel nervous. What if he got crazy and pulled out his gun at me? At that thought, I decided to just give up and drive off. Am I crazy or what?
3. I cannot stand injustice, rudeness and bad customer service. I would go to all lengths just to make my point about how unhappy I am with bad service being rendered. I’m not a trouble-maker and I don’t enjoy making a scene out of a small thing, but I always believe in standing up for what should be.
4. I’m a true CSI fan and I’m quite upset that Grisom will be leaving the show in the new season now showing on Astro. I take these shows quite personally as I get very absorbed when watching them. Each week, the CSI episodes get screened 3 times on Astro, once during the actual day and twice more on repeat on Sundays. If I’m home and free during the time they are aired, I will be watching them again and again. So, for each episode, I could be watching it 3 times in a week! But that does not break my record of watching the movie “My Best Friend’s Wedding” and my favourite sitcom “Friends” repeatedly over the years. So much so that I have actually memorised some of the dialogues!
5. You know how people say diamonds are a girl’s best friend but it doesn’t quite hold true for me. I like pearls more than diamonds. I still like diamonds (which girl doesn’t like a bling or two in her collection?), but if you were to ask me to choose between a pair of pearl earrings and a pair of diamond earrings, it would be the pearls for me. I like how feminine, timeless and classic they are.
6. I don’t own and use any make-up. Not even a lipstick. The closest thing I have to a make-up item is a coloured lip balm which I have used for less than 5 times since buying it about 9 months back. Since I’m not used to applying any make-up, I feel very self conscious if I start to wear them now. I keep thinking that people are looking at me because I look weird with make-up on!
7. For some strange reason, I always get teary-eyed at weddings. Most of the time, it happens when I watch the bride make her entrance down the aisle during church weddings, or when the bridal couple make their grand entrance during the wedding reception, or when there’s some touching speech or slideshows being shown. I can’t explain it! Maybe it’s just because I’m a cry baby.
Okay, now it gets interesting…I need to randomly tag 7 others to do this post. But I think I’ll bend the rule a little and tag only 5 other bloggers. So here are 5 mummy bloggers that I’m looking forward to read some random facts about you! Happy blogging!

2. Amy of Kiasu Mum
3. Ai-Ling of My Little Heroes
4. Evelyne of Journey Of A Baby, who’s due anytime now!

I can vouch for all the 7 tags listed. hahaha
yes, I remember u used to laugh at anything and everything…and u best is, u can go on and on forever. I remember once in gymrama, u laughed so hard (and so long) the instructor had to ask u to go behind the pillar to laugh alone so that u dont distract others… remember?
Haha, it looks like I am remembered for my non-stop laughs! Evelyne, I seriously don’t recall that episode…my gosh, it sounds so embarrassing!
