Baby’s food journal #2

by Penny on April 21, 2008

Today baby wasn’t drinking as much milk as he was yesterday. And since he didn’t want frequent feeds, he was offered a variety of other food stuff.

Here’s Food Journal #2:

2.30am – 4oz of milk
6.30am – 6oz of milk
9.30am – 6oz of milk
12.45pm – porridge cooked with dried scallops, butter fish, carrots and potatoes
1.45pm – steamed apple & 3oz of milk
3.30pm – rusk biscuit mixed with some warm milk
5.45pm – porridge (same as above)

9.30pm – 6oz of milk

All in all, he consumed about 25oz of milk for the day. I’m not sure if that’s sufficient milk intake for a baby his age. I know that the recommended amount of milk for a 5 month old is around 24oz a day. But now that he’s a 7-month old moving on to 8 months soon, I’m not sure if it’s sufficient. Maybe I should check this out.
