When the clock struck midnight last night, I began receiving warm birthday messages from family and friends. And throughout the day, I felt blessed that I was not short of more birthday wishes and each one is cherished and appreciated.
It’s end of the day now and all I’ve got to say is that it’s been a great day. I had the day off from work and had plenty of me time, doing anything and nothing. I even had a decent nap in the afternoon before we headed out to dinner. Although the food at dinner wasn’t any good, but the company was perfect and it more than made up for the not so great food.
Today the little boy learned a new phrase and it was one that tickled him pink. It’s “not bad”. I don’t know why it sounds funny to him. The funny incident a few minutes after he learned that phrase was when he was chatting up a lady at the mall. When we asked him whether the lady was pretty, he said “not bad”. It sent us all into laughter, him and the lady herself included!
What a day it has been. I look forward to more days like this. A day filled with love, joy and laughter.
