Amy, that’ll work too…but are there long weekends coming up anytime soon? I look forward to those too, not for trips but just long breaks from work! Haha.

My in laws in kampung la and they will not help me look after Hayley. Anyway, will find a long weekend and will convince my mom

Hehe … I am a horrible mum.
I developed separation anxiety for a while and then decided my sanity is more important. But of course I also feel like I am missing out on their development. Oh well, I guess we just have to enjoy them when they are with us and when we are on a well deserved break, we also have to enjoy ourselves.
I usually put my son with my parents – and my phone bill will sky rocket whenever that happens!

Amy, my in-laws are looking after the boy. You might want to think about that option too if they’re not working Leaving Hayley with the babysitter may not be such a bad idea after all. She’s already familiar with her anyway…

Kimmy, same for us, we can’t wait to get home to the boy and can’t get enough hugs and kisses too! Agree with you that a break is good. Thanks!

Sometimes husband and wife need to take time off and go holiday, just the two of you, in order to rekindle the love and warmth of the relationship. Separation anxiety will always be there, I do feel that too. But for us, we’re working parents and each time we reach home, the first thing both of us will race to is to hug our baby.
