My birthday seemed more like Ryan’s birthday

I had just celebrated another year of growth I have to say it was a great one and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. I gave myself the day off from work. Well I did some work but it was rather minimal and I don’t really consider it as working anyway.

Although it was my birthday, Ryan had the best of it for the day. We went out for breakfast, lunch and dinner and he only went to the babysitter’s place for half a day. Mostly just for his afternoon nap while I stole a few hours to do my own stuff. He was pampered with foods that he likes and he was really having a blast.

The day before my birthday, he told me that he wanted to blow the candles on the birthday cake, so a birthday cake was a must for the day. I thought of just getting a small one for the sake of letting him blow the candles. You see, I don’t mind doing without a cake as it wasn’t top priority for me.

But as it turns out, the cake that I was surprised with was the major highlight for many of us that night! It wasn’t just an ordinary cake, but a set of cupcakes that were customised. There were 16 cupcakes in the set and each one had a different graphic printed on it. And mind you, the image was even edible! Impressive…I have to say that the cake is without a doubt more thrilling than anything for me. I would say it’s more fun than a playstation 3!

Want to take a peek at what the cupcakes looked like? Well there are some printed with cartoon characters familiar to Ryan just so he has some thrills, but the majority of them were actually made up of pictures of us! I simply loved it! And on each cupcake, a wish was printed on it too. Cool huh?

Cute or not? I like them all so much that I couldn’t eat any of the images…just ate the delicious chocolate cake under the pretty layer
