Ryan has a four-legged little brother now. His name is Snoopy. Snoopy is a 9-month old male beagle. We first took him home on Sunday so it’s just been a few days he’s with us. I must say he’s been very well behaved thus far, albeit some drama that happened on the second day he was here.
While we were all out in the daytime, the little fellow managed to crawl out of the house and luckily wandered into our neighbour’s place where he was kept until we returned. The same night while we were out for dinner, he again managed to “escape” and this time he wandered off further to a nearby playground. Luckily for us again, a kind neighbour saw the dog and someone walked him back to the safety of our neighbour’s home again where he waited for our return.
Since then we’ve made sure he’s got no room to squeeze out again. Now his favourite spot is to sleep under my car. I don’t know why.
He does like Ryan a lot. The first day he got here, he seems to only eye Ryan and whenever Ryan came near, he would wag his tail. When Ryan walked away, his tail drooped. So cute.
One thing about Snoopy is that he doesn’t bark much. Since he has been with us for 4 days now, I’ve only heard him bark 3 times. Even when people came by the house, he wouldn’t bark! Hmm…it doesn’t seem like Snoopy is the kind that guards the home for us. Still a good idea to get some sturdy Kwikset locks for the house despite having a dog now. Haha!
It’s been fun having Snoopy around although we have not spent much time with him yet. He’s really adorable. I’m sure both Ryan and Snoopy will enjoy each other’s company as they grow up together.
