I went to the Big Bad Wolf Books warehouse sale three times. Too many times? I guess so…but each time I went, I just had to pick up more books. And the good thing is that they bring out more new books from the previous day’s sales so that they don’t run short of books to offer to shoppers no matter which day they decide to go.
The entire family got books, and I think the winner of us all is none other than my precious boy who got so many great children’s activity books. Here are my entire book sale haul for myself and the boy. Warning: This post is photo intensive because I bought A LOT of books!
For the boy:

This box set of a hardcover book titled “I Udderly Love You!” teaches lessons on love and even comes with a beanie plush cow toy! RM10.

These wipe and clean activity books are great for him to start drawing and occupying himself so that we can sit back for a while. RM10 each.

This very thick book that consists of colouring activity and stickers also come with a CD for you to print more stickers if you need them. RM10.

Another box set of hardcover book and a special star alarm clock also cost me just RM10!

He picked these two books himself. I think the car book cost me RM5 and the toilet training book with flush noises cost me RM8

Hardcover annual books on Barney, Noddy, Over The Hedge and Open Season each cost me MR5

Some colouring books from the Madagascar series cost me RM2 whilst the Santa manners book cost me RM8

Another sticker book with a CD to print more images cost RM10 and a Barney book for RM5
For myself:

Chicken Soup For The Soul Series, ranging from RM8 to RM10

Some self improvement books, the Go-Getter book only cost RM3 while the other 2 cost RM8 each

This mummy wants to learn how to make more money and get rich, so that’s why these books. Also because they only cost RM8 each!!

More books to learn the corporate or business life and on making money. Again, RM8 each.

Trying to balance up making money with being a good mummy, so here are books on nutrition and recipes for the family which cost RM10 each.

I saw Busy Bee buy this and I got kiasu although it’s not time to read it yet. After all it was only for RM10.

Here are some books for my pleasure reading, a Jeffrey Archer short stories collection at RM8

More easy readings which I hope to get through amidst all the other books. Each of them cost RM8
On top of the very cheap prices of these books, I got a 10% discount just by using my OCBC credit card to pay for the purchase. Incredibly worth it or what?
This is one happy mummy who’s all shopped out for books. At least for this year

Wait till I see the next best deal, am sure you will be grinning and all geared up to go!
Wow, great bargains! I estimate you would have saved hundreds or ringgit. Those personal finance books look interesting. Let me know if you decide to get rid of them later
May, yes I went on the 1st day, 3rd and 4th day too. And if I had more energy and limitless funds, I would continue going even on the very last day!
Busy Bee, yeah, that’s because you would drag me there with you. Hahaha.
Adino, I definitely saved hundreds and hundreds from retail prices. Okay, I would let you know if I’m gonna be getting rid of them
Oh, boy, I read about the sale – looks like a lot of good books there on sale. Were there many people??? I always read about Malaysians not reading but you show otherwise
