Covershots is doing a family Christmas special

by Penny on November 20, 2008

I’ve always been a fan of Covershots althought I didn’t use them for my wedding shots. I always keep updated on what they are offering and I’m delighted to see their Christmas special coming up for family pictures.

This Family Christmas Special is actually a photoshoot to develop customised family Christmas greeting cards. The package costs RM250. Your chosen family photo will be used to develop into 10 pieces of photo cards (5R size). A make-up and hairstyling session will also be provided for free for 1 person. This package caters up to 5 people in the photoshoot. Any additional pax will be charged RM50 per person. Softcopies are not provided unless you are willing to purchase them at RM20 per photo.

It is also said that 10% of the proceeds from this Christmas specials will be donated to the FHL Children Home. You can visit the home’s website here and here. For more information on this, you can visit Covershots for more detail.

I’m still contemplating whether or not to do this photoshoot. Do you think it’s worth it?

I think it is worth it.. I am also very keen to get a family photo (just the 3 of us) but I am not sure if now would be a good time for me cause Hayley still doesn’t know how to look into the camera and smile :-) . But I am sure your boy is old enough to be taught to do that. Go for it girl!

You reckon so, huh Amy? I’m quite tempted but a friend was saying that it seems a bit expensive just to get greeting cards. I’m still half-hearted… :(

Sometimes when you wait too long for a good deal to come, you tend to miss the best time in his life :-) . To me, although RM250 may seem expensive, but when it comes to capturing the best memories and it involves my baby, I often do not think twice :-) unless I really can’t afford it then I will think a million times :-)

BTW, I think there is something wrong with your website. A few times when I tried to post a comment or read the comments, I would have a weird problem where my explorer keeps opening a new tab on its own, it just won’t stop opening and I had to reboot my PC to make it stop. I hope it’s not a virus.

Amy, thanks for letting me know…I’ll check if there’s something wrong but I’ve tried using 2 different computers and don’t seem to face the situation you described. I seriously hope it’s not virus! So sorry about all that inconvenience to you…
