Baby definitely has reached the stage of crawling and holding things steady in his grasp. Those are some milestones described by baby food manufacturer Gerber that mark babies’ readiness to “graduate” into being able to eat some finger foods.
Gerber’s fruit puffs is very well loved by baby. We only started this little treat today and he has loved every bite. It’s a small snack that comes shaped in the form of a star. The puff is said to be made of fresh fruits and very easy to chew on. It has a pleasant fruit scent to it but it does not taste as sweet as it smells. It’s also not a filling snack so you can be rest assured that baby can gobble a few of these just before mealtime and would still be keen on a full meal.
It comes in a few different flavours, strawberry & apple, cherry and banana. If you don’t fancy fruit puffs, Gerber also has vegetable puffs that come in flavours like sweet corn and sweet potato.
I have not seen this product on sale in Malaysia so far. If you have seen it, please drop me a line and tell me where I can find them. The ones that we got for him were bought in Singapore, at $6 each.
