Apart from talking with family members, friends and colleagues who are mothers, I also visit many mummy blogs. Through all these interactions, I find that there’s so much to learn and I suppose the learning will never stop.
One of the mummy blogs that I enjoy reading is Parenting Times. Besides the light-hearted true stories about her kids and their antiques, this mummy also generously shares many useful suggestions and links about activities for kids, kiddie websites and kids crafts.
Other than sharing parenting and kids-related resources, her stories also carry little messages that teaches about life’s little lessons. Though we may know the “little” things in life that are important, we sometimes forget or take things for granted. It’s nice to be reminded to impart such small yet important lessons to our kids so that they become a better person.
Apart from finding the blog refreshing and useful, I also like how it is presented, using little cartoon graphics that I find make the blog really cute and friendly. There’s a child in all of us somewhere, even when we’re a mummy!
