Have you heard of i-City in Shah Alam that has become one of the latest attraction in showcasing some absolutely stunning and beautiful light show? Well I’ve only recently heard of it and one night before the Chinese New Year, we took a drive there to see what the fuss is all about.
When we got there, we were truly awed. From the outside driving in to the basement car park we all felt excited and couldn’t wait to go round the place to snap some pictures of the beautifully lit up premise.
But as soon as we got to the parking basement, it poured heavily and we decided to just go home and revisit another time. So last night after dinner we again made the trip the amidst Ryan’s impatience to get there. However, we were again disappointed and turned away without even entering this time.
The crowd was totally overwhelming. Police patrol was there to stop entry into the premise and that resulted in people parking their cars on the roadside and walking all the way to the buildings. It was a really far stretch of cars parked out there. I couldn’t believe people were willing to walk so far!
The traffic jam to get around the area was horrendous and we figured that it’s not going to be easy to snap some good pictures even if we managed to get in there since there are so many people there already.
So we again turned away and headed home. Now I wonder when we’ll make a third attempt to go see the place at all…the distance has put us off not to mention each time we take a drive there, Ryan gets a little restless. So let’s wait and see.

So did you manage to go in the end? I’ve been wanting to go as well but didn’t really make the initiative to go. After reading your post, I think I’ll just scrap the idea
or maybe we just drive by and see the lights from the car tonight.
No we didn’t manage to get in there…only saw from the outside which was just a teaser to the nicer ones inside. Not sure when our next attempt will be
