Will Lonely Planet hire this lonely mummy?

by Penny on April 29, 2009

We’ve revived our earlier cancelled plans to go to Bangkok and we’ll be leaving tomorrow. As much as I’ve been looking forward to this trip, I can’t help but miss the boy already. This afternoon his grandparents came to pick him up as he’ll be staying over with them for the next couple of days until we return.

So tonight I will go home where he’s not there to greet me with an excited exclamation of “Mummy!” and a big grin on his face. This mummy is already missing the little kiddo. In all honesty, I hope he doesn’t miss us, and will have a ball of a time being pampered by the grandparents and feel nothing but happy all day long.

I feel like a lonely mummy…will Lonely Planet hire a Lonely Mummy to host a Lonely Travel show on Lonely TV Channel?

Hi Penny,

Enjoy yr trip & shopping! I do believe that mothers will usually suffer more severe separation anxiety than our kiddos…. They enjoy being pampered by their grandparents, so I wonder if they will really ‘miss’ us when we are not around..

Anyway, let’s focus on those exciting things that you can do when you are there…. Have a pleasant journey! :)

Busy Bee, a blast it really was! :)

Bengbeng, err…didn’t take that many pictures of the trip at all. I only have some food pics…you can catch them on my shopping blog later!

Emily, you’re right, we’re the stickier ones compared to the kids! He had a great time without us too! :D
