Are you overwhelmed by the malls yet?

by Penny on December 22, 2009

Over the long weekend we thought it was a great idea to try to get as much Christmas shopping done as possible. Little did we know that the malls would be flooded by people and that parking was going to be next to impossible.

Did you go to any of the major malls during the weekend? It was sure overwhelming…

So did we get all our Christmas shopping done? Absolutely not. I hardly got anything yet! Now panic strikes and I’m wondering if the malls will still be flooded in the next few days leading up to Christmas.

The only saving grace about shopping during this period is that the sales and promotions are going on almost everywhere you go. From getting heavily discounted items to receiving free gifts of shopping vouchers or promotional umbrellas, I guess it’s quite a fun time. It’s not really the gifts that matter, it’s all about getting a little bit of extras, right?

So far I’ve gotten some great discounts for stuff I bought and also received some shopping vouchers. They do come in handy for future purchases if not for this period.

So how far along are you in your Christmas shopping? Are you going to be one of those who will continue to crowd the malls when I hit them in the next few days? :D

I too am afraid of the crowds…especially getting a parking space.
Was at One U on Fri and Sat… but made sure I got there bright and early… so nice to see the car park empty!

Yeah Mid valley was crowded with people these few days. Finding a lunch spot was so tough. I definitely think it will be worst tomorrow and on Christmas eve.
