Now that I’ve bitten the bullet, there are quite a few things I have to think about in terms of protection. Some of the benefits that come with a job are medical and protection policies paid by the employer. Now that I will have none of them, I have to start thinking about having them on my own. I do have some insurance policies in place but not a medical one for myself.
To many people this may not be an important aspect, but I think over time, you may realise that it is one of the most important things to have. As it is, we have so many kinds of threats going on around us nowadays as compared to just 10 to 15 years ago. So all the more I think it is important to re-look at some of these things now to see how best I can apply some protection for myself and the family.
