Rotavirus vaccination

by Penny on January 19, 2008

Have your little bundle of joy been vaccinated for Rotavirus? I was hesitant at first but after baby’s experience with diarrhea for a few days, I got really worried and worked up. There was no doubt then that the Rotavirus vaccination is a must!

So during the check-up with the paed that month, we administered his first dose. It’s an oral vaccination and he seemed to love it. It’s syrupy, according to the paed, so I’m sure he must’ve enjoyed it tremendously because I have a feeling he likes sweet stuff. Whilst pregnant with him, I often wanted sweet food which amazed me because I am never a fan of sweet food prior to pregnancy.

Anyway, if you have not already given this to your precious one, it is worthwhile to go for it. It’s worth all the peace of mind in the world.
