Are you a mother from hell? Well, the truth is, you won’t know it yourself even if you are. It’s determined by your children and if they say you are, you are. Of course no one wants to be a mother from hell but do you agree that mothers are very much a misunderstood group? So if you are labelled as a mother from hell by your children, don’t feel too badly about it because you are probably just misunderstood and so wrongly labelled.
Mothers normally only have nothing but the best of intentions for their children. They may be the naggiest creature on earth, and it irritates the children to no end, but believe it when you are told that mothers would never want bad things for their children. That’s why they nag, scold, ask and expect too much out of you, because they care about every single thing that you do. That is what a mother is.
This topic came up because a few of us young mothers had a very animated chat about horror stories of mothers from hell. After listening to all the unbelievably stressful remarks from some mothers out there, we came to realise that we may just turn out like that one day. And that one day may not even be far along.
So let’s not be quick and judge our mothers for being what they are. Instead, be thankful that they’re there. When you become a mother from hell, chances are you will be running to your mother for comfort, wanting her to tell you that you are not a mother from hell!
