Working from home doesn’t seem that hard

by Penny on December 30, 2008

While we were in Singapore visiting friends, it just occurred to me that for some people, running a home based business is really not that difficult. I have to admit that it helps that this friend of ours is not yet a parent, but then again it could still be done. Life seems to be much simpler without the stress from bosses and tight deadlines. Whilst I may not know the true stress of being on my own to run a profitable business, I sure sense a lot of satisfaction in our friend in her way of life.

See, she even had the time to set up a lovely breakfast for us…

toasted bread Working from home doesnt seem that hard

Lightly toasted french bread

eggs and sausage Working from home doesnt seem that hard

Fried eggs and sausages

brewed coffee Working from home doesnt seem that hard

Freshly brewed black coffee

milk Working from home doesnt seem that hard

Warm milk

I would love to have the time to dish up breakfast, even if it’s something simple and have them all nicely set on the table. As it is, we go without breakfast and straight to work!

It doesn’t hurt to have an additional source of income. I guess this is a dream for most of us stuck in office-based jobs.

Hey, hey, you are back!

While I am not sure I want to make breakfast everyday, I sure don’t mind an additional source of income!

Adino, yes I agree with you, those who are stuck with a 9-to-5 job always dream of not having to work in an office full time. I’ve also heard the opposite is true for those who don’t work. I guess it’s a case of the grass being greener on the other side.

Busy Bee, yes I’m back and dreading work in 2 days time! :(
