Would you still want to buy jellies after seeing this?

by Penny on October 15, 2008

Most children love jellies. Actually, I love them too. But after seeing how jellies are made in China, I will definitely not buy any jellies from now on. It’s safer and healthier to make them on our own, not to mention you can control the colouring, sweetness and texture of the home-made jellies.

See for yourself how jellies are made from the pictures below. Would you still buy them?

True dat. Even the mamak fella never wash his properly when fondling your roti canai.

Or the fella dip his thumb into your curry when bringing it over.

Or the chicken rice guy handling the money and then handling the chicken without a glove or washing his hands.

Or your plates just simply dipped in dilute soapy water then chin-chai rinse then used to serve food to you.

Or you yourself pushing the door (that thousands of people have touched) open with your hands, handling money, the tray, the receipt, pushing out the chair to sit on, then eating the French fries with the same fingers.

Or washing your hands after going to the toilet, then stupidly touching the door knob to open the toilet entrance that thousands of people touched who might not have washed their hands properly.

Scared or not?

Quachee, true, I sometimes make it a point not to look at the kitchen of places we eat in!

J, haha, what’s a very scary picture you painted but nevertheless true. We aren’t a super-hygienic lot, that we have to admit. So let’s all wear gloves and carry around sanitizing gels! :D
